Our desire to lose weight, get stronger, improve our physical appearance and/or health is often driven by a deeper meaning than just the superficial benefits these goals would provide. We're often driven by a desire for acceptance, a desire to create self-value, a desire to "show others", and so on. Identifying these deeper needs can help not only a personal trainer, but also ourselves, create the best holistic program to help us achieve our goals.
